Just in case you haven’t heard it yet, Microsoft has decided on the new name and time frame for the next version of Visual Studio (2010), A full list of all of the features has not yet been released (they will be coming sometime soon, probably around the time of the Professional Developer Conference in October), however you can read the announcement and see the new websit3 for Visual Studio 2010 and the .NET Framework 4.0.
